Ezekiel Chapter 1

1.1 Now it was in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], on the fifth day of the new moon, and I was among the captives by [the] river Chebar when the heavens opened, and I saw a vision from Jehovah.
1.2 In the fifth of the new moon, [it was] the fifth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin the King.
1.3 A Word of Jehovah to come came unto Ezekiel, son of Buzi the Priest in the land of the Chaldeans upon the river Chebar, and the hand of the Lord was upon him there.
1.4 Then I looked and behold! A wind of a storm coming from the north, a great cloud and fire brutally taking itself (raging) and brightness all around it, and in the midst like an eye of amber from within the fire.
1.5 And from within her midst, [there was] a likeness of four living creatures, and this [was] their appearance, like a man to them.
1.6 And four faces to each and four wings to each of them.
1.7 And the foot of their legs [are] straight and the sole of their feet like a sole of the foot of a young bull and they shimmered like an eye of burnished bronze.
1.8 And their hands of a man from under their wings on the four sides and each of the four [had] faces and wings.
1.9 Each pair of their wings [were] joined to each other. They do not turn. Each one goes in the direction of its face.
1.10 And likeness their faces: a face of a man and a face of a lion, on the right side to the four of them. And a face of an ox from the left side to the four of them and a face an eagle to the four of them.
1.11 And their faces, and their wings were separated from the higher part, to each two [wings] touching each other and two covered their bodies.
1:12 Each one walks forward of their faces. Wherever the spirit walks they do not turn as they walked.
1.13 And their likeness [is] living creatures, their appearance is like coals of fire burning, like an appearance of the torches she (burning coals of fire) intensely walks between the living creatures and brightness to [the] fire and from the fire.
1.14 The living creatures ran back and forth like [the] appearance the lightning.
1.15 And I looked [at] the living creatures and behold a wheel on the earth beside each of the living creatures with four faces.
